Crunchyroll Reveals Upcoming Spring Anime Lineup

Crunchyroll, the popular anime streaming service, has announced its lineup of new and returning series for the Spring 2023 season. The spring season will feature over 40 series, including highly anticipated new releases and continuing favorites.

One of the most anticipated titles is the second season of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury, which picks up where the first season left off. Additionally, some series that are currently airing as part of the winter season, such as Vinland Saga season 2, will continue into the spring season.

Highlights of the lineup include Hell’s Paradise, an adaptation of the manga by Yuji Kaku. Hell’s Paradise will debut with subtitles on April 1. On April 5, KONOSUBA: An Explosion on This Wonderful World, a spinoff focusing on the character Megumin, will be released. Dr. STONE New World, a new arc of the science-based series, will follow on April 6. The Ancient Magus’ Bride season 2, a continuation of the popular series from 2017, will also premiere on April 6. Mashle: Magic and Muscles will debut on April 7, and The Witch From Mercury will return on April 9. Ranking of Kings: The Treasure Chest of Courage, a side-story to the hit series from 2021, will be released on April 13. Golden Kamuy season 4 is also set for release this spring, although a specific date has not been announced. Most of these series will have an English dub available, although dub release dates have yet to be revealed.

In addition to the aforementioned series, Crunchyroll will also feature several new Isekai titles, such as The Aristocrat’s Otherworldly Adventure, I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in the Real World, Too, Summoned to Another World for a Second Time, and My One-Hit Kill Sister. MIX, also known as Meisei Story, will have a second season focused on baseball. There will also be some romance series, including Tonikawa: Over the Moon for You season 2.

With such a diverse range of series on offer, Crunchyroll aims to cater to a wide range of anime fans. From action-packed mecha series to fantasy adventures and romantic comedies, there should be something for everyone’s taste.
