The image, shared via Twitter, showcases the Fei Xin Unit as they prepare for war against the Zhao Kingdom. Fans of the series will be thrilled to see Masakazu Morita reprising his role as Shin, along with other returning voice actors Jun Fukuyama (Ei Sei), Rie Kugimiya (He Liao Diao), Yoko Hikasa (Qiang Lei), Susumu Akagi (Yuan), and Kōsuke Toriumi (Wei Ping). The teaser also reveals that the upcoming season will feature the Battle of Koku You Hills, which marks the beginning of the war against the Zhao Kingdom.

The earlier seasons of the Kingdom anime had a rocky start, receiving criticism for their use of CGI. However, the series made a comeback with a switch to traditional 2D animation in season 3, which premiered in April 2020, six years after the previous season. Since then, Kingdom has had regular releases, with season 4 concluding in October 2022.
