It is likely that Shuri, the current Black Panther, will join the Avengers in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty to face off against Kang. While the scene with characters who knew T’Challa may not be extensive, it is important to honor the memory of the revered King, just as other fallen heroes have been honored.

Shuri is expected to join the Avengers in this film, and although a scene with characters who knew T’Challa may not be significant several years after Wakanda Forever, it is important to recognize the legacy of King T’Challa.
The absence of the Avengers in T’Challa’s funeral scene can be explained both in-universe and out-of-universe. In the world of the movie, it may not have been necessary for the Wakandans to invite outsiders to a personal and culturally significant event. Additionally, the scene was meant as a tribute to Boseman, and featuring cameos from other Avengers may have been seen as distracting. However, Avengers: The Kang Dynasty is the perfect opportunity to show that T’Challa’s legacy extends beyond Wakanda and that he meant a great deal to all of Earth’s mightiest heroes.
