OMG Antman’s daughter Cassie Lang is Terrible

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantummania was a fun movie, but it had its fair share of issues. One of the biggest gripes I had with the movie was the way Scott Lang’s daughter Cassie treated him. Despite the fact that Ant-Man has done his fair share of saving the world, his daughter chastised him for not doing enough. This was especially egregious considering the fact that he had lost five years of his life in what was for him a matter of hours.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantummania Characters

The issue of how the characters were able to breathe and communicate in the quantum realm was confusing as well. Janet spent 30 years inside the realm, yet she aged as she would have in normal world standards or dimensions, which makes no sense because gravity and all the factors that would weigh down her body would not have been a factor with her being so infinitesimally small.

Antman’s daughter Cassie Lang

Despite the fact that Ant-Man is not the most powerful Avenger, he has done a great deal of good and helped save the world. Unfortunately, his daughter Cassie seemed to forget this fact. She was full of herself and thought her way of helping people was to claim she was peacefully protesting, when in fact she abused her power by using Pym particles to shrink a police officer’s car. It was only when Cassie was confronted by Modoc that she realized the error of her ways.

It is worth noting that none of Endgame would have happened had it not been for Ant-Man. During the mid-credits scene of Ant-Man and the Wasp, Scott Lang ended up trapped in the quantum realm following an experiment led by Hank, Janet, and Hope. It was his suggestion to travel back in time to collect the necessary stones to create a second Infinity Gauntlet that ultimately convinced Tony Stark to work on the idea. Without it, half the universe would still be lost to the snap.

Despite the fact that Ant-Man sacrificed a lot of his own desires, including being with his daughter, in order to save everyone, Cassie had the audacity to tell him “what have you done lately?” This was a huge slap in the face to not just Ant-Man, but to everyone else who has lost their limbs or families from fighting to protect others.

The fact that his family was silent in agreement with Cassie was equally as bad. Ant-Man has done more in his lifetime than what would require several hundred lifetimes for someone else to do. His daughter should have been more appreciative of his achievements and not insulted him.

Antman 3 Film Had Major Issues

Ultimately, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantum Mania was a fun movie, but it had its fair share of issues. It is important to recognize the sacrifices and achievements of those who have gone above and beyond to help protect the world.
