Star Wars franchise Reveals the Whereabouts of Thrawn & Ezra Bridger (And Causes Major Disruptions)

The recent episodes of “Ahsoka” have revealed a major plot development that changes the entire Star Wars franchise. Ahsoka has confirmed the whereabouts of Grand Admiral Thrawn and Ezra Bridger, who have been missing for the last nine years. In the Star Wars Rebels finale, Ezra sacrifices himself to defeat Thrawn by using his connection with the purrgil, hyperspace whales. These whales are capable of traveling between galaxies, and it is revealed that they have taken Thrawn and Ezra to another galaxy called Peridea.

Star Wars Reveals the Whereabouts of Thrawn & Ezra Bridger

The purrgil are hyperspace whales that can create micro-tunnels through hyperspace, allowing them to travel across the Star Wars galaxy. However, it is now discovered that their abilities are even more vast, as they can travel between galaxies. Lady Morgan has retrieved an ancient starmap that shows a pathway to Peridea, which aligns with the purrgil’s migration route. Lady Morgan believes that Thrawn and Ezra have been taken to Peridea by the purrgil, crossing the void between galaxies.

This revelation is significant because it marks the first time in the Star Wars franchise’s history that it has ventured beyond the galaxy. The franchise has always been set “a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away,” implying a single galaxy. Previous explorations of other galaxies in the old Star Wars Expanded Universe were later revealed to be outcasts from the Star Wars galaxy. Now, with the introduction of Peridea, Star Wars is actually traveling to another galaxy.

Peridea is believed to be the origin of the Nightsisters of Dathomir’s strange Force powers. This suggests that the Force in Peridea operates under different rules, which could reshape viewers’ understanding of the Force itself. This makes the Ahsoka storyline one of the most exciting in the history of Star Wars.
