A new official artwork has been released featuring Ahsoka Tano, the former Jedi apprentice of Anakin Skywalker, with her lightsabers ignited. The poster pays homage to Ahsoka’s connection to Anakin, as she is depicted wielding a single lightsaber in a stance reminiscent of her master.

Ahsoka, portrayed by Rosario Dawson, made her live-action debut in The Mandalorian season 2 and is set to star in her own show, where she embarks on a search for the lost Imperial leader Grand Admiral Thrawn. This search will take her across the galaxy, where she will encounter new foes and old allies from Star Wars: Rebels.

The official Star Wars Twitter account shared the new poster, which shows Ahsoka igniting her white lightsabers as she sets off on her journey. The artwork blends Ahsoka into the starry background behind her, and the blue shapes and markings on the poster are inspired by her montrals and the World Between Worlds seen in Star Wars: Rebels.

Other promotional posters for Ahsoka have also been released, featuring characters such as Sabine Wren, General Hera Syndulla, Morgan Elsbeth, Shin Hati, and Baylan Skoll. However, it is Ahsoka’s own poster that stands out due to its subtle nod to her origins and her connection to Anakin. The poster shows Ahsoka wielding only one lightsaber in a pose reminiscent of Anakin’s Jedi Knight days, hinting at potential flashback scenes or visions between the master and apprentice.

Barkla’s artwork captures a sense of wonder and mystery, with the fog-like blue swirls and markings creating an atmosphere of intrigue. As Ahsoka sets out on her journey to find Grand Admiral Thrawn, the show could potentially introduce new aspects of the galaxy and expand upon the era in which it takes place.

Ahsoka will premiere its first two episodes on August 22 on Disney+, with new episodes releasing every Tuesday. Fans are eagerly awaiting the series and the further exploration of Ahsoka’s story and the Star Wars universe.
