Scarlet Witch’s Resurrection and Reunion with Her Son in MCU

The Scarlet Witch, a popular character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), has been resurrected and reunited with one of her sons in impressive fan art. Elizabeth Olsen’s portrayal of Wanda Maximoff has gained significant popularity, especially due to her emotional story in the Disney+ series WandaVision. The fan art depicts the Scarlet Witch coming back to life and being paired up with her son, Billy Kaplan (played by Joe Locke), who is rumored to debut in the upcoming Disney+ series Agatha: Coven of Chaos.

In WandaVision, Wanda had to let go of her twin sons, and in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, she caused chaos across the multiverse in an attempt to find them. Ultimately, in her effort to save others from being tempted by a dangerous book called the Darkhold, she seemingly sacrificed herself. While it may be too soon to bring her back to the MCU as a hero after her villainous turn, it is likely that she will return in the future.

There are two WandaVision spinoffs in development, Agatha: Coven of Chaos and Vision Quest, which could provide opportunities for Wanda to appear in cameo roles or have her story further developed. Furthermore, the MCU is gradually introducing the Young Avengers, a team of young heroes, and there are rumors that their storyline will involve Billy and his brother Tommy searching for their mother, the Scarlet Witch. This suggests that Wanda will return in Phase 6 of the MCU.

While her return in Phase 5 seems unlikely due to the recent events surrounding her character, it is clear that the Scarlet Witch’s story is far from over. The fan art depicting her resurrection and reunion with her son showcases the excitement and anticipation fans have for her future in the MCU.
