To obtain the Chicago Typewriter, players must first acquire the Biome Portal Keyquest item. This key is obtained by confronting The Keeper in The Labyrinth during the game’s story. However, the location of The Labyrinth is random with each new roll of the campaign or Adventure Mode.
The Typewriter can be found in Ward 13, the main hub of the game. Players need to use the Biome Portal Key to explore Leto’s Stash, a specific area within Ward 13 where the weapon is located.
To reach Leto’s Stash, players should travel to the Fractured Ingress checkpoint in Ward 13. From there, they need to follow the path to a glowing purple portal. After jumping through the portal, players will find another portal in a new area. By climbing walls and platforming, they will eventually reach a sealed door that can be opened using the Biome Portal Key. Inside, they will find Leto’s Stash, with the Chicago Typewriter glowing purple at its center.
Leto’s Stash also contains Leto’s Armor Set, a powerful gear set that can be used alongside the Chicago Typewriter to take on enemies in other worlds within the game.
