To commemorate the anniversary, studio Pierrot is creating four new episodes, set to debut in Japan on September 3. The international release dates for these episodes are currently unknown.
Recently, a popularity poll was conducted to determine the fandom’s favorite Naruto character. Minato Namikaze, Naruto’s father and the Fourth Hokage, claimed first place with an impressive 792,257 votes. Itachi Uchiha and Sakura Haruno ranked second and third, respectively. To celebrate the victory, Kishimoto created a special manga spotlighting the character, which appeared in the latest issue of Weekly Shōnen Jump.
