Loungefly, a popular merchandise brand, has announced new Jujutsu Kaisen merchandise for the upcoming New York Comic Con 2023. The highlight of their collection is an off-white mini backpack featuring the character Ryomen Sukuna, which will be available for purchase at the event and online for $80.
In addition to the backpack, Loungefly has also partnered with streaming giant Crunchyroll to release a Jujutsu Kaisen 5-pack pin set. The set includes pins of the main characters Yuji Itadori, Nobara Kugisaki, Megumi Fushiguro, Ryomen Sukuna, and Satoru Gojo. The pin set will be available at Loungefly’s booth at NYCC.
This collaboration between Loungefly and Jujutsu Kaisen began earlier this year with the release of mini bags featuring a scene from the anime where Yuji Itadori swallows one of Ryomen Sukuna’s fingers. While Itadori is the main protagonist of the series, Satoru Gojo has become a fan favorite and often takes the spotlight in merchandise.
Jujutsu Kaisen is a manga series by Gege Akutami that was adapted into an anime by studio MAPPA. The series has gained widespread popularity and has a dedicated fan following. The franchise has expanded its merchandise offerings, including life-size cardboard cut-outs, stickers, and apparel featuring the characters.
