Gaming and office chair manufacturer Secretlab has announced a new collaboration with the popular anime series Jujutsu Kaisen. The new gaming chair draws inspiration from Jujutsu High’s school uniforms, featuring spirals of blue cursed energy and the school’s logo stitched into the back. The chair is available in regular and extra-large sizes.
This collaboration is not the only recent one for Jujutsu Kaisen, as the series is also making its way into the world of Fortnite. The announcement trailer showcases protagonist Yuji Itadori and other characters from the series bursting through a brick wall. These characters will be added to the video game as part of version 25.30.
Jujutsu Kaisen, created by Gege Akutami, began publishing in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump in 2018 and has become a prominent part of the manga landscape. The story follows Itadori, a high schooler who becomes a Jujutsu Sorcerer after swallowing one of the fingers of Ryomen Sukuna, the King of Curses, in order to save his friends. At Jujutsu High, Itadori trains under Gojo, the strongest sorcerer in the world.
Fans of Jujutsu Kaisen have even more to look forward to, as the second season of the anime adaptation is currently premiering. The season explores Gojo’s time as a student at Jujutsu High and adapts the “Hidden Inventory/Premature Death” storyline from the manga. Many of the voice actors from the first season have reprised their roles for the new season.
Jujutsu Kaisen manga is distributed by VIZ Media in North America, and the anime adaptation can be streamed on Crunchyroll.
With these collaborations and the ongoing success of the series, Jujutsu Kaisen continues to captivate fans and expand its reach in the anime and gaming communities.
