Disney Plus has announced its schedule for July 31 to August 6, with the release of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and new episodes of Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is the latest installment in the popular Marvel franchise and sees the return of beloved characters such as Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, and Rocket. The film introduces new characters Adam Warlock and the High Evolutionary and grossed over $840 million at the box office. It was written and directed by James Gunn.

Alongside Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Disney Plus will also release six new episodes of Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures. This animated series follows the adventures of the Younglings and features a voice cast that includes Jamaal Avery, Jr., Juliet Donenfeld, and Dee Bradley Baker. The first season will consist of 25 episodes, with more to follow later in the year. The show is executive produced by Michael Olson.
In addition to these new releases, Disney Plus will also add several other titles to its streaming library. These include Farm Dreams, How Not to Draw Shorts, and Kiff, which are all new TV shows. Farm Dreams consists of six episodes, How Not to Draw Shorts has five episodes, and Kiff has four episodes.
On Friday, August 4, Disney Plus subscribers can also look forward to new content from other streaming platforms. Netflix will be removing Mean Girls at the end of August, so viewers only have until August 31 to watch it. Paramount Plus will be adding new seasons of Billions and The Chi on August 11. Additionally, Paramount Plus will be adding the classic film Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure to its library. Amazon Prime Video will be featuring The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart, and HBO Max will be premiering a new drama series.
Overall, Disney Plus has an exciting lineup for the week of July 31 to August 6.
