Prime Video Unveils Release Date and Exclusive First Photos for Upload Season 3

The popular sci-fi comedy series “Upload” is set to return for its third season on Friday, October 20th, according to Prime Video. The upcoming season will consist of eight episodes, with two episodes being released every week leading up to the finale. Alongside the release date announcement, Prime Video also shared several photos from Upload Season 3.

The show, created by Emmy-winning writer Greg Daniels, is set in a technologically advanced future where holographic phones, self-driving vehicles, AI assistance, and 3D food printers are the norm. In this world, when people die, they have the option to be “uploaded” into a virtual reality afterlife, where they can enjoy all the comforts of a world-class resort. The catch is that it comes at a price.

The third season of Upload will continue the story of Nora and Nathan as they navigate their relationship and work together to stop a mysterious conspiracy that threatens the lives of millions. They are determined to shut down the company Freeyond, but they face many challenges along the way. Will they be able to have a real life together, or is Nathan’s impending head explosion unavoidable?

Meanwhile, in the virtual afterlife of Lakeview, a backup copy of Nathan has been activated, and Ingrid is determined not to let this second chance at love slip away. In the real world, Aleesha rises through the ranks of Horizen by managing AI education and finds herself in a new romantic relationship. Luke, on the other hand, is left alone in Lakeview and must find a way to pay for his stay in paradise, leading him to work in The Grey Zone.

The cast of Upload Season 3 includes Robbie Amell as Nathan, Andy Allo as Nora, Kevin Bigley as Luke, Allegra Edwards as Ingrid, Zainab Johnson as Aleesha, and Owen Daniels as A.I. Guy. Series creator Greg Daniels serves as executive producer alongside Howard Klein.
